Grass Installation

Grass install begins with delivery. After the sod arrives our driver places it in an accessible location for the installer. If there is no access to the area being sodded (grass installed) it will be placed on the street or driveway. If sod is placed in the driveway it will then be taken to the area being worked on by a wheelbarrow at no additional charge to you. It will be laid down in a brick like pattern. This pattern is used and recommended so it will not leave any lines and the gaps are minimal. After the sod is laid it will then be rolled over with a 40 gal drum called a roller. This is done to bond the soil and sod together and even out any lumps. Before the rolling the installers will soak the sod to make it softer and easier to bond. After the rolling they will proceed with the edging. Edging will be done by cutting all edges of your lawn to be even with your sidewalk, driveway, etc. After the job is complete the installers will clean up all the debris and water one more time before leaving you with a beautiful lawn for you to enjoy.
